Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of MakeTCG, the website at maketcg.com and the tools on it (together, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What MakeTCG is

MakeTCG is an online tool for designing custom trading card images and print sheets in the style of the One Piece Card Game. It is a fan-made tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored or approved by Bandai, Toei Animation, Shueisha or Eiichiro Oda. “One Piece” and “ONE PIECE CARD GAME” are trademarks of their respective owners.

2. Who can use it

You must be at least 13 years old, or older if your country sets a higher minimum age for using online services without a parent’s consent. If you are under 18, use the Service with the permission of a parent or guardian.

3. Your content

• You keep all rights to the images and text you add to your cards (“Your Content”).
• Your Content is processed in your browser and stored on your device. We do not upload it to our servers and we do not claim any licence to it.
• You are responsible for Your Content. Only use images and text that you created or have permission to use. Do not include anything illegal, hateful or sexually explicit, or anything that violates someone else’s rights or privacy.

4. How you may use the cards you make

Cards made with MakeTCG are for personal, non-commercial use, such as casual play, deck testing, display and gifts. You may not:

• sell cards or print sheets made with the Service, or use them commercially;
• present them as official products or use them to deceive anyone, for example as counterfeit cards;
• use them at events whose rules do not allow proxies or custom cards.

Some frame designs, symbols and layouts follow the look of the official game. Rights in them belong to their owners, and you use them at your own responsibility.

5. Acceptable use

Do not:

• disrupt, overload or try to gain unauthorised access to the Service;
• copy or scrape the Service’s code, artwork or fonts to build another service;
• remove or bypass watermarks, limits or other protections;
• use the Service in breach of any law.

6. Paid plans

Some features may require a paid plan in the future. When paid plans are offered:

• the price, the features and the billing period are shown before you buy;
• purchases are processed by an authorised reseller that acts as the merchant of record and is named at checkout; its terms also apply to your purchase;
• subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel; you can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you paid for;
• if a free trial is offered, you are charged when it ends unless you cancel before then;
• we tell you before a price change applies to your subscription.

Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

7. Our rights

The Service, including its software, design, the MakeTCG name and logo and our original artwork, belongs to MakeTCG. Fonts and other third-party materials are used under their own licences. These Terms do not give you any right to use our name or logo.

8. Availability and changes

We may change, suspend or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time. Your cards are stored in your browser, so clearing your browser data or switching devices can remove them. Keep your own copies with “Save card data”.

9. Disclaimer

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that printed cards will look exactly like the screen.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, MakeTCG is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, profits or content. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50 if you have not paid anything. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer under mandatory law.

11. Ending your use

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and the courts of Istanbul have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and may bring a claim there.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows the current version. We announce significant changes on the website. If you keep using the Service after a change, you accept the updated Terms.
